Nuheart for small dogs is a monthly heartworm preventative treatment. The Ivermectin formula kills larval stages of heartworms within 30 days of infestation. The oral heartworm treatment is also known as a generic form of heartgard.

Nuheart Blue is a meat-flavored heartworm treatment that attracts small dogs. Each tablet is well-sized for easier dosing with minimal rejection. Just place a Nuheart tablet in the back of the dog's throat on top of the tongue. For resisting dogs, Nuheart can also be dissolved in a small amount of water or mixed in the pet's food.
