This innovative collar provides long-lasting defense against fleas and ticks for up to 8 months, making it a convenient and effective solution for pet parents. It repels and kills fleas before they lay eggs, as well as flea larvae in the environment, and ticks such as deer ticks, American dog ticks, brown dog ticks, and lone star ticks, preventing tick infestations within 48 hours. With its easy-to-use design, simply fasten the collar around your dog's neck for continuous protection.

Seresto Collar for Dogs is also indicated for the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange and elimination of chewing lice. Plus, the Seresto collar is water-resistant, odorless, and non-greasy, ensuring your dog stays comfortable and protected in any environment. Safe for use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older, the collar features light reflectors for added visibility in the evening and at night, ensuring your pet's safety during walks or outdoor adventures.

How does Seresto flea and tick collar work?

Seresto for dogs works by releasing active ingredients gradually over your pet's skin and coat, providing continuous protection against fleas and ticks. The collar contains two active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin. Imidacloprid kills adult fleas and prevents flea larvae from developing, while flumethrin repels and kills ticks, preventing them from attaching to your pet. These ingredients are stored within the collar's polymer matrix and are released in low concentrations onto your pet's skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting efficacy for up to 8 months. As your pet wears the collar, the active ingredients spread over their body, effectively repelling and killing fleas and ticks on contact.

Seresto

Although I still use Seresto for my two Chihuahua's the product is far from full proof. I have had to check my dogs every time they go out since we live in the suburbs and have lots of trees...My smaller Chihuahua Benny has Lyme Disease...My larger Chi...seems to get more ticks on him and I don't know the reason other than he is Black & White...The product seems to be better than Frontline, but I am not happy that my little one has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease on 9/21/17...I hope that the Doxycline will cure him...Please notify Bayer about their product...
