Selehold Red is a broad-spectrum parasite treatment for medium dogs. This monthly topical solution protects dogs against fleas, ear mites, biting lice, sarcoptic mange, roundworms, and heartworms. Selehold is easy to apply and is a convenient option for dogs that resist oral treatments. This selamectin topical solution is suitable for dogs of at least 6 weeks of age, and weighing between 22 & 44 lbs.

How does Selehold Red work?

Selehold Red for Medium Dogs contains selamectin as an active ingredient. Selamectin interferes with the nervous system of parasites, resulting in paralysis and death in them. On application, it is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream, where it helps prevent heartworm disease. Once distributed through the skin, it protects against common internal and external parasites.

Instructions To Use Selehold (Generic Revolution)

• Weigh your dog and get the suitable Selehold pack that corresponds to their body weight.
• Packaging:
  • Selehold for Dogs is available in five different sizes for a weight-appropriate dosage.
  • The packs are color-coded for easier identification.
• Remove the pipette from its packaging.
• Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
• Turn the cap around, and place the other end of the cap back on the pipette.
• Push and twist the cap to break the seal, and then remove the cap from the pipette.
• Part the coat at the base of your dog’s neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.
• Place the tip of the pipette onto the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to empty the entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot.
• Do not apply it when your pet’s hair coat is wet.
• For ear mite treatment, do not apply it directly to the ear canal.
• Apply the dose as indicated to minimize the quantity of product your pet can lick off.

Packages:

• It is for topical animal use only. Do not administer it orally.
• Keep the treated pet away from fires and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes after application or until the hair coat is dry.
• Wash your hands after handling the product.
• Wash off any product that comes into contact with the skin immediately with soap and water.
• In case of accidental eye exposure, flush the eyes immediately with water and seek medical advice immediately.
• Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product.
• Avoid direct contact with the treated pet until the application site is dry.
• Keep children away from the pet on the treatment day.
• Dispose of used applicators immediately.

Precautions

• Do not use it in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• Do not use it in animals under 6 weeks of age.
• Avoid frequent swimming or shampooing the pet, as the maintenance of the effectiveness of this product in these cases has not been evaluated.
• Pets aged 6 months or above should be tested for existing heartworm infections before beginning treatment with this product.

• It is highly flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition.
