Seresto collar offers up to 8 months of protection against flea and tick infestations to cats and kittens. This easy-to-apply, wearable treatment:
Seresto flea and tick collar for cats contains two active ingredients: Flumethrin and imidacloprid. The polymer matrix technology used in Seresto makes sure that both these ingredients are slowly and continuously released from the collar and stay present on the cat during the entire 8-month efficacy period.
The ingredients spread from the site of direct contact over the cat’s skin surface and kill fleas and ticks through contact, so parasites do not need to bite the cat to be affected. After 24 hours of application, new fleas are killed within 2 hours. After the initial 48 hours of application, new ticks are repelled and/or killed in as quickly as 6 hours.

I love this cat collar. We haven’t had an issue with ours coming off at all for our indoor/outdoor cat. But we also do not trim the ends just to have a little extra excess on the end. Also, I liked that this collar came in a recyclable container, like cardboard material. Much better for the environment!
