Milprazon Chewable Tablets for Dogs

Milprazon for Dogs is a highly palatable, meat-flavored multi worming treatment for 4 weeks and older puppies and dogs that weigh at least 1.1lbs (0.5kg). This oral formula comprises milbemycin oxime and praziquantel as active components that work in tandem and protect against a variety of worms including intestinal worms and heartworms.

Simple and easy-to-give, Milprazon tablets treat both immature and adult species of tapeworms, including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., and Mesocestoides spp. At the same time, it treats a few species of roundworms, i.e., Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis,Toxascaris leonina,Trichuris vulpi, Crenosoma vulpis, Angiostrongylus vasorum, and Thelazia callipaeda. Milprazon can be useful in the prevention of heartworms if accompanying tapeworm treatment is advocated. This worming treatment may be used in pregnant and lactating dogs.

How it works?

Milprazon is composed of two active ingredients: Milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. Milbemycin oxime interrupts the neurotransmission in roundworms and kills them, whereas, praziquantel causes muscle tremors in tapeworms and destroys them.
