Triworm-C Tablets Coverage

Triworm-C is a worm remedy against ascarids, hookworms and tapeworms in cats. When administered as recommended, it is effective against several common worm species, including:

• Ascarids: Toxocara cati (syn. Mystax)
• Hookworms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense
• Tapeworms: Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.

How Does Triworm-C for Cats Work?

Triworm-C contains two active ingredients: Pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. Pyrantel pamoate disrupts the nervous system of hookworms and ascarids, causing the worms to lose their grip on the intestinal wall and leading to their expulsion from the body. Praziquantel, on the other hand, damages the outer layer of tapeworms, causing their detachment from the intestinal wall and elimination from the body.

Instructions To Use Triworm-C Dewormer

Directions for use:

• Weigh your cat to determine the appropriate dosage.
• Remove the required Triworm-C Tablet(s) from the pack.
• Administer the tablet(s) directly into your cat’s mouth.
• Alternatively, you can mix the tablet(s) with a small amount of your cat’s food, or crush and mix it with food.
• It is not necessary to feed your cat or place them on fasting before the treatment.
• To control worm infestations, regular deworming at intervals of 3 to 6 months is recommended.
• To reduce the chances of re-infestations, it is recommended to treat all pets in the household at the same time.
• This tablet can be given to all cats, including old cats and young kittens as per a veterinarian’s guidance.

Dosage:

• 1 Tablet per 8.8 lbs. (4 kg), and ½ tablets for every 4.4 lbs. (2 kg) thereafter is recommended.

• For animal use only.
• It should be kept out of reach of uninformed persons, children and animals.
• Read the label completely and use only as directed.
• If worms persist, consult your veterinarian for guidance.
