Frontline Plus for small dogs is made with two active ingredients, fipronil, and s-methoprene. Once applied, the liquid formula quickly gets spread all over the dog’s body surface and holds within its sebaceous glands. These glands fill up the chemical liquid constantly on dog’s skin, and coat, keeping them protected.

Fipronil kills fleas by causing paralysis due to excessive stimulation of their nervous system. S-methoprene prevents the growth of the parasites and stops eggs from maturing into adults. The composition is recommended for use in 8 weeks and older dogs.
