Panacur Oral Suspension: Liquid Worming Treatment for Dogs and Cats

Protect your pet from various types of worms with a single liquid solution. Panacur Oral Suspension is a broad-spectrum dewormer for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. It is formulated with fenbendazole, which is effective against major worms in pets, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and certain tapeworms.

This liquid dewormer treats immature and mature stages of nematodes of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tract in domestic dogs and cats. Convenient for pets that are not comfortable with topical solutions, this oral treatment can be given directly by mouth or can be mixed in your pet’s food for easy acceptance.

  • Repeat the treatment when natural re-infection with parasitic worms occurs.
  • It is advisable to administer repeat treatment to adult animals with minimal exposure to infection 2 to 4 times per year.

Puppies and kittens under six months of age

  • Give 0.5 ml (50 mg fenbendazole) per 2.2 lbs. of body weight daily for 3 consecutive days by mouth directly after feeding to un-weaned pets, or add to feed for weaned pets directly before feeding.
  • Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age, 5 weeks of age, and again before leaving the breeder’s premises.
  • Treatment may also be required at 8 and 12 weeks of age.
  • Thereafter, you may reduce the frequency of treatment unless the pups remain in kennels where re-infestation occurs more readily.
